Landfall Strategies'  team of owners, managers and associate consultants possesses a wealth of experience assisting state and local governments with federal disaster funding programs and debris management. Most of our personnel have served as FEMA or State Public Assistance Coordinators and Project Officers during the recovery phase of several major disasters, working with hundreds of Public Assistance applicants to guide them through the recovery process, prepare their federal grant claims, assist with appeals and reimbursements, perform final inspection and project closeouts and plan for future disasters. Our team consists of professionals from a wide array of backgrounds - from government service, private industry, insurance, marketing, social science and international business.

FEMA Public Assistance Grant Management Consultants
Our team has prepared hundreds of FEMA Project Worksheets and FHWA Detailed Damage Inspection Reports worth over $750 Million in federal claims. We have also presided over the final inspection and financial closeout of hundreds of FEMA projects for multiple local governments and state agencies and are highly familiar with FEMA policies in all categories of work. Our experience also includes the drafting of many successful appeals to FEMA decisions and our many personal FEMA, State, local government and contractor contacts, gained from years of service to government projects, render us uniquely positioned to assist our clients with any challenges that may arise. 

Debris Management and Monitoring Specialists
Our management team has broad-based, practical knowledge and experience in debris monitoring and management, some having served as Debris Specialist to FEMA or the State of Florida Division of Emergency Management during major disaster recovery efforts, as well overseeing large debris contract monitoring projects entailing the removal of over thirty million cubic yards of debris. We have written Debris Management Plans for several large local governments and state agencies, all of which were approved by FEMA for the Public Assistance Pilot Program on their first submission. 

Technical Specialists
We maintain a network of technical specialists and subject matter experts who have strong backgrounds in hazard mitigation, risk analysis, insurance adjustment and reconciliation, cost estimating, structural and environmental engineering, solid waste management, real-estate, HUD CDBG and recovery programs, grants management, IT and cyber security, data management, fire protection services, emergency management training and planning and building inspection. We assemble teams of qualified specialists to match the unique set of challenges each project presents and remain nimble and adaptable to each client's requirements.

Our management team has many years of experience in business development and is adept at identifying new government contract opportunities and capitilizing on them - from finding or developing RFPs and preparing winning proposals to assembling experienced project management teams and designing marketing strategies.
